Cinnamon Days are raising money for Bags of Taste to help them support more vulnerable people on their life-changing courses in Sheffield and the UK.
Cinnamon Days is a Nutritional Therapy service that specialises in weight loss and metabolic health problems. It is run by Sue Wharton and Isabel Hemmings, both BANT and CNHC registered Nutritional Therapists in Sheffield. They have designed a six-week healthy eating programme, called Springboard2Health to help raise money for Bags of Taste.
The weekly online sessions are suitable for everyone and will provide bite-sized practical tips for eating well, family friendly recipes and healthy lifestyle tips.
As we come out of lockdown, NOW is a great time to work on our health and Cinnamon Days want to do their bit to support the health of local communities. It’s surprising how making even small changes in eating habits can make you feel healthier and more energetic in a short time and can lead to long term health gain. This way we’ll all come out of lockdown feeling healthier and stronger!
Bags of Taste is a life changing intervention that gets people in poverty to change the way they cook, shop and eat forever. By dealing with the practical barriers that people face, like whether they have the right equipment or know where to buy the ingredients they need at an affordable price, we give them the head space to make a start on improving their lives. And once they see the benefits, they keep on with it! One year on, people say that the impact is even more than it was at the end of our course.
Please support our work and help us to change more people’s lives, forever.
