Monitoring what works, learning from what doesn’t

Our primary goal is to make the biggest impact to the people we support, and we have used their input, insights and evidence to both create the programme and for its continuous development. Since inception, detailed, in-depth interviews, focus groups, A/B testing, granular feedback and aggregate outcomes data have shaped and improved the programme we offer, and the user experience is always paramount.

We have continually developed our evaluation methods since we launched, drawing on expertise from a range of experts including  health statisticians and professionals from across the NHS.

Our course has been independently evaluated by nutritionists to assess longer term impact, 6 months after the course.  They found that participants were eating less takeaways, cooking from scratch more frequently, and saving money.
